Catching up!

I have had a most awesomesauce few weeks!  It's been a whirlwind holiday season and already Christmas seems ages ago.  But in the timeless nature of my unhabitual blogging, I'm giving myself loads of leeway in the timing category...

Anywhooooo, let's see...the last time we were together I was all about Em's bday party. And now I am thinking about 2012 changes and rearranges!  I have of course resolutely told myself I'll blog more regularly (are you rolling your eyes or snickering?!) I have lots to share about our Christmas vacay!  

Key to a happy flight? Noise canceling headphones!

My entire family went on a cruise to the Western Caribbean!  That was my parents' gift to us, they're rockin' dontcha think?

here we go!

We flew in and out of New Orleans, what an interesting city--I'd love to spend more time in the Big Easy!

We sailed for two days-- Christmas Eve and Day.  Where we had great fun hanging out as a family and dressing alike...

we are proudly that fam with all matching outfits--every.last.one.of.us!

The ship had 3000 cruisers and over 600 crew--it's a floating city! With so much going on... 

Four our clan..Cruises are all about eating!

  And boy howdy did we do a lot of that.  

It was a great way for the 10 of us to come back together after being spread out on the ship all day.  

It was nice to be together since my nephew graduates from college this spring and is off to the Air Force for the next chapter of his life, this was our last chance to have guaranteed together time!

Disney aDoration!

I meant to post this sooner, this week just got away from me (darn the whole having to work everyday thing!) Here are some final pics from our trip. 

 On our last full day, it poured!  And not AZ rain, crazy bounce off the sidewalk and back up into your face cooooold rain!  As we ventured out, I kept thinking, why oh why am I pushing a stroller through this?  Needless to say, I hardly pushed the photo button with my chilled cold wet fingers!

 Also, I love having a big camera, but at DL I really yearn for a pocket sized one (besides my phone) to just pull out and snap a few--any ideas on quality itty bitty cameras?

We had such a great visit, of course the day we left the weather was beautiful!  Means we have to go back soon, yes?
On the way home, we were making great time and got a flat tire in the middle of nowhere! Yikes!  We actually had some fun waiting for AAA in the desert.

I love the idea here, return to a place in your past and retake a picture.  I pack a special picture with us to take to Disneyland--to Ariel's Grotto, one of my favorite places to go and we go every time, buy the pic with Ariel every time, so I was thinking I could do this ev.er.y time.  I can't promise not to bore you with it e.v.e.r.y t.i.m.e...well I don't pinkie promise or anything...wink wink...

so anyway...I forgot the pic I brought in the room (epic fail)...off to plan B...I used our pic from that day instead of the oldie, but it was still a goodie...

I tell you what, taking this pic was harder than I expected! In fact, I wish it had come out better than it did--but the great thing, is I know I'll be back soon to take another! 
(I'd change the framing up some I think)
 Have you taken a dear photograph yet?  I'm dying to find more to take...Just as soon as I get the house cleaned up from the trip and the Halloween decorations up!

Lilly Bean was doing some serious spinning, well sorta... 

 One of the best places to eat in the park is Ariel's Grotto.  Where not only do the adults get yummy food, the ladies get to visit with the princesses!  It's quite fun for kids of all ages! (have I become a crazed Disney fanatic--perhaps!)

Having two little girls, it's about a lot of princesses...funny how that want to dress up is so pervasive...we have a lot of dress up clothes, which it actually took the girls awhile to get into, but now--now now now--there is no stopping them! That Belle dress has been worn no less than 7 times since...

And as far as Vici goes...really by the end of every day I think the parks had mostly conquered us!
