weekend!

I still have lots to blog about for the Xmas vacay, but I keep getting sidetracked--ooh look shiny object!

We had such a swimmingly busy weekend around these parts! 

Friday--G had a game against a really good school.

it moved so fast!

Met some pals for a late dinner.

Saturday I went to a pinned party!  Where we all chose something we'd pinned and made it! 

 I made a melted army man bowl...

and a cowboys and indians one, I'm thinking of making it bigger...

the most fun was making these cookies!  Soooo easy!

Wehad such a good time working on the pins and just playing with different ideas!

 Then my lovely ladies had their first visit to build-a-bear.  I haven't been there in ages, which means I had no idea that it is insanely a wee bit crowded on a Saturday afternoon.

Today was a laundry war while watching some guys in tight pants wage war over a ball...

Seriously, where do the socks go? Do you ever feel like just buying new ones instead of matching them?

Gift

I made this for a dear friend's birthday.  You've probably seen the melted crayon projects floating around pinterest. I made this with my lovely ladies.  I did all the glueing and they chose all the colors for the flowers...

Isn't it fun!?

 The docks there aren't big enough for the boat to come into, so you have to take a 'tender' or small boat in...

You don't need a script to get drugs there, all the drugs are wayyyyy cheap!  You weren't supposed to take pics, oooopsy daisy!

Catching up!

I have had a most awesomesauce few weeks!  It's been a whirlwind holiday season and already Christmas seems ages ago.  But in the timeless nature of my unhabitual blogging, I'm giving myself loads of leeway in the timing category...

Anywhooooo, let's see...the last time we were together I was all about Em's bday party. And now I am thinking about 2012 changes and rearranges!  I have of course resolutely told myself I'll blog more regularly (are you rolling your eyes or snickering?!) I have lots to share about our Christmas vacay!  

Key to a happy flight? Noise canceling headphones!

My entire family went on a cruise to the Western Caribbean!  That was my parents' gift to us, they're rockin' dontcha think?

here we go!

We flew in and out of New Orleans, what an interesting city--I'd love to spend more time in the Big Easy!

We sailed for two days-- Christmas Eve and Day.  Where we had great fun hanging out as a family and dressing alike...

we are proudly that fam with all matching outfits--every.last.one.of.us!

they heart each other--mostly...

The ship had 3000 cruisers and over 600 crew--it's a floating city! With so much going on... 

Four our clan..Cruises are all about eating!

  And boy howdy did we do a lot of that.  

It was a great way for the 10 of us to come back together after being spread out on the ship all day.  

It was nice to be together since my nephew graduates from college this spring and is off to the Air Force for the next chapter of his life, this was our last chance to have guaranteed together time!

The ship dropped anchor in Belize on the day after Christmas...
